2016 Admitted Students’ Reception

On March 27th, the UChicago Center in Beijing hosted 2016 University of Chicago Admitted Students' Reception. This year, the event attracted over 130 graduate and College admittees, parents and friends. The annual reception provides a chance for admitted students to gain further understanding of the University and the City of Chicago through interactions with UChicago faculty, staff and alumni.

The event opened with a short speech on the history of UChicago from Professor Dali Yang, Faculty Director of University of Chicago Center in Beijing. Walter Hu, an alum of the Booth School of Business, offered his reflections on his time at the University of Chicago. The opening remarks were followed by interactions with a diverse panel of UChicago Alumni and further mingling and sharing.
