At the American Club in Beijing, the University of Chicago Booth School of Business presented  2011 Business Forecast: Economic Insights for the Coming Year.  David Daokui Li (right) modeated the event with forecasters Anil Kashyap, Morgan Sze (’93) and Randall S. Kroszner.  (Xinhua reported on the Business Forecast 2011 opening event in Chicago.)

The forecasters predicted continued growth for Asia and a mix of high unemployment but normal GDP growth for the United States, yet expressed worries about Europe.

Organized by the University of Chicago since 1954, the Business Forecast takes place annually in cities around the world. Faculty experts from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business offer economic predictions and political insights from the year ahead before an audience of alumni, students and business community members.
