Prof. Ed Shaughnessy spoke to students in the Graham School’s Chicago in Beijing 2011 Summer Program. The Historical Significance of the Qinghua Bamboo Strips was the title of his presentation.
Edward L. Shaughnessy (夏含夷) is the Herrlee G. Creel Distinguished Service Professor of Early China in the Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations of the University of Chicago and Director of the University’s Creel Center for Chinese Paleography.
