Ou Ning Addresses Civ Class

Multi-discipline artist Ou Ning presented a talk entitled “Poverty and Politics: A Case Study of Da Zha Lan” to the East Asian Civilizations class at the University of Chicago’s Center in Beijing on Thursday, November 18th, at 4:15pm.

Ou Ning’s interests bear a strong resemblance to the subject matter of Paola Iovene’s class “Beijing in Literature and Visual Culture”.  Besides contributing articles to many magazines and books, he’s founded an independent film and video organization.
