A Workshop and Policy Dialogue on Economic Growth and Environmental Protection through Evidence-Based Policy.  India's government faces a daunting challenge-- how to meet the constitutional right of citizens to a clean environment without compromising economic growth?  This workshop brings together leading regulators, industrialists and researchers to drive the creation of new environmental policy to meet both goals.  Sessions cover the frontier of regulation today: advanced monitoring systems, information disclosure and emissions trading. Held by videoconference with the India Center.
