2015年10月24日-25日，在芝加哥大学北京中心举办的“2015中美炎性肠病（IBD）病理诊断研讨会”在热烈的氛围中圆满结束。此次炎性肠病的盛会由芝加哥大学医院病理科肖书渊教授筹划，从项目申请、联系专家、安排日程、会务组织等，事无巨细，倾注了大量心血。美国克利夫兰医院的消化科沈博教授和病理科刘秀丽教授不远万里、鼎力支持，精心准备了精彩内容详实的讲授，他们现场的临床病理对话生动有趣，充分体现了在IBD诊断中临床病理交流的重要性。此外，本次大会还邀请了中美两国多名IBD领域的知名临床及病理专家，从IBD的流行病学到内外科治疗及病理诊断及鉴别诊断进行了深入浅出的讲解，病例分享及讨论内容也十分精彩。国内外的医学专家和社会力量的大力支持，为两国同行（间）提供了一次宝贵的学习和交流的机会。190多名中国临床和病理同行带着对IBD知识的渴望和学习热情从全国各地聚集于此，享受了一次难得的IBD学术盛宴，并迫切期待明年大家能够再相聚。相信在国内外专家和同行的共同努力下，中国IBD的诊断和治疗水平在不久的将来会有质的飞跃，使国内广大IBD患者从中获益。本次会议的中方合作单位北京大学病理中心、北京协和医院、武汉大学医学部及中南医院为会议的组织贡献了大量宝贵人力和智力资源，在此谨表示衷心感谢。会议还得到了炎症性肠病基金（CCF）的大力支持。
The workshop was held in order to create an opportunity for in-depth training of a cadre of pathologists in China on accurate pathological assessment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), while establishing a platform for broadened exchange between the University of Chicago Medicine and pathologists and clinicians in China, as well as experts from the Cleveland Clinic. The workshop focused on pathologic diagnosis and clinicopathologic correlation of IBD. It consisted of a series of lectures by several expert IBD pathologists and clinicians from the US and China, a panel discussion on a series of challenging cases, and a session of case studies on pitfalls and lessons involving pathologic diagnosis. We were pleased to welcome a large audience consisting of over 190 pathologists and clinicians with special interests in IBD from all over China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Tianjin, Dalian, Zhejiang and Hebei Provinces, etc.

本次会议议题主要围绕炎症性肠病及其相关肿瘤的诊断和鉴别诊断，目标是促进病理及临床医师对病理在炎症性肠病的诊断和治疗中作用的了解，规范病理医师对炎症性肠病标本的病理诊断，加强临床、病理间的学术交流和合作。会议非常高兴能够欢迎190多位来自中国各地，包括北京、上海、广州、武汉、天津， 大连， 浙江省， 河北省等地的病理医生、学者前来参会。
