On November 15, the Beijing Center joined UChicago’s global celebration of International Game Day, held in conjunction with the university-wide Year of Games initiative. Students gathered for an afternoon of play featuring both classic board games and a selection of video games, creating a lively space for friendly competition and collaboration. The event brought together members of the Center’s community to relax, connect, and share the joy of gaming—highlighting the many ways play can spark creativity and foster meaningful interaction.
