Students from the University of Chicago had the honor of attending the Reception for U.S. University Alumni and U.S. Students in Beijing, held at Bush House, the residence of the U.S. Ambassador. This event offered a valuable opportunity for UChicago students currently participating in the East Asian Civilization Program to network with peers from universities across the United States, including current Schwarzman Scholars and Yenching Scholars. During the reception, Ambassador Burns highlighted the importance of fostering educational collaboration between the United States and China, a sentiment that aligns deeply with the enriching experiences our students enjoy during their time in Beijing.
